IVA Payment Support Officer

Job Title: IVA Payment Support Officer 
Location: Manchester
Salary: £25-29k DOE
Hours: Full-Time Monday to Friday 9am–5pm

Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities – IVA Financial Review Officer:

Conduct income and expenditure reviews to ensure affordability of monthly payments

Communicate any necessary payment adjustments with clients

Collaborate with internal teams regarding review outcomes

Respond to customer queries via phone, SMS, and email

Ensure all communication is compliant with IPA and GDPR guidelines

Escalate complex cases to the team leader or Insolvency Practitioner

Carry out additional duties as required by the business

Key Responsibilities – IVA Payment Support Officer:

Monitor daily arrears reports and engage with clients about overdue payments

Process card payments and set up recurring payment arrangements

Conduct ad-hoc income and expenditure reviews as needed

Discuss and confirm any payment amendments with clients

Coordinate with internal teams to support case progression

Communicate with clients and creditors across multiple channels, maintaining GDPR compliance

Liaise with team leaders and the Insolvency Practitioner on case-specific matters

Undertake additional business-related tasks as needed

Desirable (but not essential):

Previous experience in the insolvency industry

Background in customer service
